Controller

Òrbita Events is the website brand that sources work and connects people organising events with professionals. The person responsible for processing website data is:

Data and sources

We process the data you provide through the form, email or WhatsApp: name, email, phone, language, event details and messages. You do not need to provide sensitive information or third-party data that is unnecessary for your enquiry. We cannot reply without a way to contact you.

When you use WhatsApp, the channel processes your phone number, available profile name, messages and delivery data. If we connect the business account to the management record, we will also process identifiers, dates, statuses and history synchronised from the business account there to continue the same conversation.

Purposes and legal basis

We use this data to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and find or coordinate the necessary professionals. The basis is taking precontractual steps at your request and, if you book, managing the contractual relationship. We may also retain information where necessary to meet legal obligations or address liabilities. Confirming that you have read this policy is not consent to receive advertising.

Recipients and transfers

Necessary hosting, database and email providers may access the data, as may WhatsApp/Meta when you use that channel and professionals who need to assess or provide the requested service. Sharing with professionals is limited to information necessary for the assignment. Public authorities receive information where there is a legal obligation.

The website uses Railway hosting. Railway and WhatsApp/Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their processing and transfer terms describe standard contractual clauses and other applicable mechanisms. You can read them here or ask the controller for information:

Retention

The retention criterion is the time needed to handle the enquiry and the resulting relationship. Once these end, retention is limited to legal obligations and applicable periods for addressing liabilities; the data should then be erased. This also applies to conversations kept in the management record. You may request erasure or restriction.

Website preferences and measurement

Your browser stores your cookie preference. Google Ads measurement is activated only with marketing consent and records visits and conversions. The form does not send your name, email, phone or message text to this measurement service. To choose your preference again, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and reopen the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior processing.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, where applicable, by emailing the controller. State the right and the details needed to locate your case; if necessary, we will request proportionate information to verify your identity. The ordinary legal response period is one month and may be extended in the cases provided by law, with notice to you.

Read the instructions for exercising your rights in Data management . Requests are sent by email.

If you believe the processing infringes your rights, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency .

Decisions and updates

We do not make solely automated decisions that have legal effects on you. This policy is reviewed when processing changes; the date shown identifies the published version.
